About Me
My name is Brianna Bauer, and I am a dedicated and detail-oriented paralegal with a passion for the legal field. I am always eager to take on new challenges and collaborate with others to create innovative legal solutions. My goal is to continue growing professionally and contribute to impactful legal projects that make a difference. I have a special interest in the criminal law realm but truly enjoy all areas of law.
I recently completed The College of Lake County’s Paralegal Certificate Program which is an ABA-accredited program that provides a robust foundation for developing professionals. This program included semester long classes on legal research and writing, drafting legal documents and legal technology as well as many other skills. I successfully passed the NFPA’s Paralegal Core Competency Exam at the end of April 2025, earning my CRP credential. I have a prior Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Southeast Missouri University.
I have 4 years of experience working as a dispatcher within the law enforcement realm. Dispatching allows a person to hone a specific set of skills. These skills include time-management, stress management, workplace efficiency and working within time constraints. Currently, I am employed as a legal assistant at a personal injury law firm. This experience has allowed me to further hone my time management and workplace efficiency skills while allowing me the opportunity to have hands-on experience with some of the things I am learning through the Paralegal Certificate Program, such as document preparation and case management through legal technology.
Thank you for viewing my portfolio and I look forward to the opportunity to connect with you in the future.
